28-Jul-06:

Added the to the Documents section a note on The Chilean Lovelucks, written in collaboration with Andrés Loveluck Olivos, a present day descendant living in Chile. This document also appears on the Lovelock Web site in Lovelock Lines, Edition 5.
Updated the database used by the PhpGedView portal. The Descendant Tree for John Loveluck (1740-1803) was also generated using this updated database.

Entered a number of GRO Loveluck records after having downloaded all Loveluck birth, marriage and death records for the period 1837-1983 from FreeBMD. Also cross-checked against John Dixon's document LOVELUCK births, christenings, marriages, deaths, MI's and wills. However, there are still a large number of records in the latter document which have not yet been entered in my database.

Added the capability to browse the family tree using the Ahn Java Applet V4.0 developed by Helmut Braess.
This program allows you to view information in the database (actually in the corresponding GEDCOM file) either in textual (list) or graphic form. The textual form includes essentially all of the available information (including notes, source references, etc.), whereas the graphic form just shows the family tree with name, year of birth and year of death (where available) for each individual. The data can be presented as either a descendent or an ancestor tree. You can switch between the different views and move around the tree dynamically.
22-Jan-03: Replaced the name search tool (which was no longer working since moving the Web pages to numericable.fr) with a new search capability based on HouseSpider, a Java applet.
22-Jan-03: Updated the Family Tree pages to use the latest version of my Loveluck database. I also persuaded the Ged2Web program to include Events in the Notes which are linked to the Web pages for individuals. I often use Census Events to record details of census returns.
17-Jan-03: Updated the page containing open questions and issues concerning Loveluck family history to include some responses and relevant information from Allen Blethyn, Lynne Davis, Catherine Lovelock, Robert Sterry together with bits I dug out myself.
