Shared note

Lived at 44 Oxford St., Ealing, London. Emigrated to Tasmania in 1905 as delicate - probably on advice of Rice family who also emigrated. Settled in Fitzgerald.

Brenda Gregory's notes: Worked at Bank of England in London before emigrating to Tasmania, where he worked trapping and prospecting to supplement his income from England.

He acquired land at Fitzgerald, where he built his own home. When his daughter married he built another house on the property.
