| Shared note | Stephen was a labourer living at Brunswick Court, Southwark Surrey when his son George was baptized in 1813 and at the same address but a Corn Porter by occupation when his son Robert was baptized in 1818. When his son George died in 1815 and daughter Mary Ann died in 1819 Stephen's address was Butler's Building. It has been suggested that Stephen is the subject of the baptism that took place at St Leonard, Streatham, Surrey on 6 July 1766. If so he was born on 17 May 1766, according to the Parish Register, and his parents were Stephen and Jane Lovelock. Stephen Lovelock and Jane Davis had married at St Leonard, Streatham on 12 Dec 1765. It has been further suggested that the Stephen who married Jane Davis was the widower of Mary Elford in the Lieflock Line: http://loveluck.net/LovelockTrees/individual.php?pid=I1122&ged=wilts-trees1 At the marriage to Jane Davis the groom was recorded as a widower. Mary Elford was buried at Easton Royal, Wiltshire on 7 Aug 1765, so there is a gap of 4 months between her burial and the marriage of Stephen Lovelock and Jane Davis. However, if that Stephen was the father of the Stephen born on 17 May 1766 the child must have been conceived within days of Mary Elford's burial.
