Notes by Graham Lovelock: [Incidentally, there is a Daniel L aged 38 in the 1901 Census at Doynton in Gloucestershire. His place of birth is given as Thorne Hill, Wiltshire, but I suspect this may be Thornhill, which is a hamlet barely a mile from Clyffe Pypard. I assume, therefore, that he is the son of George Lovelock b: Abt. 1839 in Corston/Burnett, Somerset and Mary Comley b: Abt. 1840 in Thornhill who married 11 February 1860 in Lyneham. Daniel's appearance in Gloucester may give a clue to the origins of any family he might subsequently have had.]
