| Note | The birth of Fanny Louisa was only registered in the name of Rawlings, with no forenames, and the GRO Online Index does not record the mother’s maiden name, suggesting it was an illegitimate birth. As Fanny (as Fanny Louise Light) was named as one of the executors of Hannah Rawlings’ will (together with her - Fanny's - daughter Sarah Ann) it is possible that she was Hannah’s daughter, although it is equally possible that she was the daughter of Hannah’s sister Ann who was still unmarried in 1871 and working in Paddington. Hannah Spicer Lovelock of Leylands Green, Kintbury died (at Wallingford Berks) on 01 Jul 1928. Administration was granted to Fanny Louise Light, wife of Charles Edward, and Sarah Annie Smith, wife of William John. |
