Shared note | In the 1901 Census she is recorded as a Housemaid Domestic in the St Margaret and St John enumeration district, in London. I wonder whether she might possibly be the Emily Maria married at St George's Hanover Square in the Oct-Dec quarter of 1902? That marriage was to either a Frederick A Gamlyn or to a Henry Hillier. In the PRO 1901 data I found a Henry Hillier, aged 34 and born in Lambourn, residing in the St George's district. I have put out an enquiry to the Hillier List to see if anyone could confirm that there was indeed a fourth Lovelock/Hillier marriage but nothing has come of it. 28 Jan 2009: The 1911 Census entry (qv) confirms that Emily Maria did in fact marry Henry Hillier. This is now reflected in the relevant entries. |
