'The National Roll of the Great War, 1914-1918' at Ancestry.co.uk includes the following entry:

LOVELOCK, G. H., Gunner, Australian F.A. [Field Artillery] He volunteered in August 1914, and being sent in the following year to the Dardanelles, took part in many engagements on the Peninsula. He was unfortunately killed in action on 26th July, 1915, and was entitled to the 1914-1915 Star, and the General Service and Victory Medals. He had served 13 years in the Regular Army prior to emigrating to Australia, and held the Queen's and King's South Africa Medals for service in the Boer War. "A costly sacrifice upon the altar of freedom." 198 St James' Road, Old Kent Road, S.E.1.

He had enlisted in the Royal Artillery on 24 Jun 1899, and joined at Woolwich on 27 Jun 1899, eventually serving in South Africa and India.
