Note | OBITUARY (presumably of the father of Benjamin Joshua) DEATH:9th November 1924 of Thomas William Angel Crowe of Mount Royal, Adaminaby, aged 87 years. Born at Great Yarmouth England he came to Australia at the age of 20 (1857), seven years later to Monaro (1864), and was employed by William Bradley at Coolringdon as a shepherd, afterwards at Hemsby and at Mount Royal. Resided at Mount Royal 36 years. Married Miss Bridget Foley, their wedding said to be the first at Adaminaby, then known as Seymour. His father was Robert Crowe. He leaves one brother Benjamin. He was a widower and leaves three sons William of Adaminaby, Ernest of Ferndale and Charles of Wambrook. His daughters being Mesdames McMahon of Adaminaby, E Johnson of Cooma, G Carter of Wagga, M Nowland (Nolan) of Rhine Falls, H Goodman of Sydney. |
