Note	Gwendoline and her three children arrived in Southampton from New York on 14 May 1954 aboard the RMS 'Mauretania'. They returned to the UK on 19 April 1960 aboard the SS 'Hanseatic' for a 7 month stay. The manifest quoted their birthdates, although Gwendoline's was recorded as 1 May 1945. On both occasions Gwendoline was recorded as a Housewife, and they all went to stay at 20 Ewart Road, Portsmouth. Gwendoline and Theodore appear to have travelled to the USA initially in 1946.
