| Birth | Note that Ann Willis had Robert JOHN born 1801 at Shirenewton, Monmouthshire, but I have not been able to find any evidence for this. Michael Jones email 23-Aug-07: Robert John's baptism was transcribed incorrectly, it became Jones.. 29th July 1799 to Thomas and Rachel (i have not got a clue who Rachel is!). This is rather weird as his entries on the 1851 and 1861 [censuses] are also Jones... The actual baptism register is a bit inconclusive though, by im satisfied its John. The father Thomas though was certainly baptized a John.... |
