Note:Regarding Martha's identity: We have long believed that Thomas and Martha were the couple Thomas Lovelock and Martha Stevens (a widow) who married in South Stoneham on 13 Nov 1836. The Parish data at Findmypast now suggests that Martha was probably the Martha Stacey who married George Stevens in St Faith, Winchester on 18 May 1795, and that Martha Stacey was baptised in St Michael, Winchester on 28 Dec 1776, the daughter of Abraham and Martha Stacey.
