James Loveluck 11 Mar 08 I couldn't find either a plausible [...] Swinburn family in the 1881 census, [...] there is a possible Cousins family: William and Emily Cousins with 4 children, eldest age 13 (b1867/8), living at Walton on Thames, Surrey. Emma is age 45 (b 1835/6) which is not far off, but she was born Richmond Surrey, which is not exactly Croydon. [In fact this probably isn't the right family, but see the 1871 entry found by Graham Lovelock]
