Note

The 1881 and 1891 Census entries and the 1895 death entry must be considered speculative, although no other candidate for them has been identified.

Further speculation suggests that John and Ann Andrews had a falling out, that he possibly found work on one of the barges plying the Kennet and Avon canal, and ended up in Bath.

Ann wass till alive in 1881 so John lied by describing himself as a widower.
