Quality of data: primary evidence Note: 29-May-04 Previously had Elizabeth Bridgeman ([1430] 1842-1918) married to William L ([1400], 1836-1869) son of William L and Charlotte Pritchard. However, following correspondence with Susan Lovelock (sue.lovelock@ukgateway.net) April 2004 I followed her in assigning the husband of Elizabeth Bridgman as William L ([1325], 1841-1903) son of Stephen L ([1302], 1811 - ?]) and Mary Ann Hale ([1312], Abt. 1814 - ?) Here are Sue's notes on this question: Which William Lovelock married Elizabeth Bridgeman? I too had to give this some thought when I was sorting out the Lyneham Lovelocks. However, I have checked Census information from 1851 through to 1881 and they all give an age for William which is consistent with him being born in 1841 rather than 1836. Also his burial record in 1903 says he was 62, which would also be right for the son of Stephen and Mary Ann Lovelock rather than the son of William and Charlotte.
