Note | Harry was the Flight Engineer on a Lancaster of 405 Squadron based at Gransden Lodge, Cambridgeshire. His aircraft was shot down by a nightfighter at Harrenstatte, 3 miles northwest of Werlte, during a raid on Leipzig. One of the the crew of 7 survived and was captured. |
