Note | 22 Feb 2011 This gedcom file has been amended to remove I2705 (John Lovelock) who was previously included as a brother of James, effectively a twin brother as they were deduced to have both been born in 1822. Although the transcribed Baptism entries for Ramsbury on the main Lovelock website include the baptism of James, there is no record of a John being baptised at the same time, or in the same year. Conversely, the burial of a John in 1823 at the age of 6 months needs to be considered in the light of a lack of evidence that James survived. Thus it is concluded that either the Register contains an error, or that a mistake has been made in the transcription of the burial, and that James and John are in fact the same child.
