Note | A report in the 'Western Gazette' of 6 Jan 1933 stated that an inquest held in Battersea resulted in an open verdict being recorded in respect of Lily Rosina. Death was due to coal gas poisoning but there was insufficient evidence to show how the poison was inhaled. Lily was said to be a lady's companion, and was found dying in a bath-room in Balham. |
