| Note | The 1901 does indicate Rose as being both the Head of the household and a widow. She was also recorded as a widow in 1891, when she was in Tottenham (Stamford Hill to be more accurate, although the Census entry won't reveal that directly), so the 1889 death of John James seems almost certain to be her husband. |
