Shared note | The Certificate of Frederick's marriage indicates that his father was Robert Lovelock, a Porter. The only Robert found in the 1851 Census born before 1816, which he would have to be to be Frederick's father, is recorded as the husband of Martha, is aged 45, and is a Wine Cooper by trade. It is assumed that this is the same Robert as the father of Frederick's brother William (qv). |
