| Birth | The burial record states that Charles was aged 2 and of Chievely. This would explain why he was not with his parents and brothers in the 1841 Census Return. However, there are a number of Public Member Trees at Ancestry.co.uk that suggest Charles emigrated to the USA some time before 1844, and married firstly to Mary Kimball, and then to Abigail Beard in 1873.
