Shared note | As told by his son William Thomas (Tom) Lovelock, then living in Wagga about 1918. In 1917 Thomas and Kate moved to Boree Creek in NSW where land had become available. His next two children, Frances and Royce, were born in Lockhart. Played Australian Rules football with the Faithful club. They played in long pants . Thomas remained in 'Wynola' until he died suddenly of cancer in 1935. He owned a half share of the farm with his brother George. Thomas died intestate and his half of "Wynola" was divided evenly among his four children. William Thomas then bought out his sister Muriel and his brothers Frank and Roy so that he owned his father's half of the property. |
