The children assigned to John L and Elizabeth Hancock could alternatively be those of John Lovelock to Elizabeth Bromham. However, the children were baptised between 1778 (13 years after John L and Elizabeth Bromham were married) and 1797, when the other John L (bap 1740) would have been 57.
